The PICOSTATION-M2-HP is probably the smallest and the most powerful Access Point on the market – maximal output power is up to 1000 mW. The SMA-RP socket allows to connect an additional external antenna. The kit includes power supply unit with PoE adapter.

Where can the picostationm2hp be deployed?
It can be deployed in indoor or outdoor environments, so the PicoStationM2HP is ideal for applications requiring medium‑range performance and a minimal installation footprint. The high performance, small form factor, and low cost of the PicoStationM2HP make it extremely versatile and economical to deploy.
Is the unifi Pico antenna worth it?
It is a SISO antenna (as opposed to MIMO on the Unifi Outdoor AP) which means it has about 1/2 the max speed but the speed is plenty for me. If your looking for a very reliable, configurable AP and don’t need the fastest speeds, the Pico is a great buy.
Does the picostation make a good router?
The Picostation is by default set up as an Access Point. It requires less knowledge to add it into your network as an Access Point than it does to use it as a router. It does make an excellent router if you have the patience and know-how to set it up. The signal these produce is very strong.
