I am working on a 2013 BMW X3 with the N20 engine. The customer bought the vehicle from a Honda dealer in 2015, when it had about 32,000 miles on it. A couple of years later, when it had just over 75,000 miles on it, the timing chain failed. Mileage on the used engine at the time of its installation is not known.
